The North Texas Irish Festival is pleased to welcome the
following regional dance schools to the 2003
Festival.
They include:
|
San
Antonio Irish Dancers
|
The San Antonio Irish Dancers have performed in and around
the San Antonio area since 1982 and have always been a welcome
favorite at the North Texas Irish Festival. The group is dedicated
to promoting Irish culture in the forms of both music and dance.
Though the group's main focus is on traditional ceilidgh dancing, championship
dancers provide an exciting contrast in the form of non-traditional
jig and reel steps performed in hard shoes.
