Clan Village

For the first time the North Texas Irish Festival is pleased to invite a number of Scottish Clans to join them at the Festival. Although they have long been a part of the festival in spirit, and in some cases have enjoyed space in our Cultural area, this year we are creating a dedicated Clan Village.

Participation in the village is being managed through the Scottish Clans of North Texas, and application may be made by email to scottishlady49@yahoo.com. Space is limited and will be on a first come, first served basis. There will be no charge for participation.

Please also note that we do have some very simple rules that govern the inclusion of your clan in this area. They are as follows:

  1. Our festival is not an appropriate setting for political or religious issues, sectarian or partisan disputes or any other matter which detracts from the cultural aspects of our heritage.

  2. Booth space within the Clan Village is limited to cultural, non-profit organizations.

  3. We reserve the right to refuse admittance to any individual, entity or organization, who in our sole opinion seeks to promote anything that is political, religious, sectarian or partisan in nature.

  4. We reserve the right to refuse admittance to any organization, that restricts membership to any class based on race, color of skin, religion, ethnicity or gender or which supports or promotes such restrictions.

  5. We ask all participating organizations to limit goods sold to those which promote their clan or organization. T-shirts, commemorative items, locally produced CDs, raffle tickets or works of art sold for fundraising purposes are permissible.

We would like to thank the
for their generous support of our cultural program
